A first in Switzerland: indication of sugar content required for a varietal wine.

Wines made from the Amigne grape vary in sugar content depending on the vintage and the choices made by the winemaker. In order to assist the consumer in his or her choice, the vinegrowing winemakers of Vétroz introduced an obligatory indication of sugar content for the Amigne de Vétroz AOC, required of all their members beginning with the 2005 vintage.
